Question – With the three-day weekend coming, are you also trying to clean up and clean out your entire home?! Personally, it helps me relax to just get it all done so I’m not cleaning all weekend. Not think about a dirty pile of dishes to come home to when I come back from break is probably the best part of being proactive. 🗓 📦 🤹♂️
But seriously, I use great, natural, award-winning cleaning products that make my cleaning a breeze. Or at least not take as long. Now, if they did all the actual cleaning for me. Ok, I’ off to get some cleaning down before the weekend starts! 🚿
Instacart – This a a great time saver for a mom or anyone in the house that picks up the groceries. I’ve tried this service a couple of times now and it does the job. I use it for Aldi, CVS, and Meijer items I can’t get elsewhere. Use CODE TALTHEIDE1D0 to get $10 for your first purchase.
Classic touch if you know the style. And watches are the type of gift that can elevate any outfit without complicating things.
Hypoallergenic earrings. If your mom struggles because she’s sensitive to metal, these earrings will make her day and kudos to you for noticing. The brand Attention at Kmart and Sears has some good options, but you need to go in the store to find them. It’s a bit tricky online.
I had forgotten completely about this feature, I was thankfully reminded by Becky Simpson, who is a wonderful illustrator that I follow on Twitter. She was even gracious enough to reply back with the answer.

Have you ever bought something that turned into a staple, like a purse or a watch? A sample item that you never leave the house without? I’m not talking about keys or phones, but I am talking about something useful and small.
For me that was my JBL Wires-less headphones. I’m so excited to share about these headphones that have become my trusty companions. I take them everywhere.
Here’s some typical internal excuses that I would make:
It’s so noisy at work and I can’t concentrate.
I don’t like to run because my headphones always fall out.
I don’t listen to training or podcasts because I don’t have time.
I promise to listen to that audiobook next week.
Chores take too much time and I can’t multi-task.
I can’t answer a quick call on the phone while driving.
Without a long cable, headphones really become a great small tool to have around.
My JBL headphones connect easily to my phone or laptop. I can walk around doing chores and still listen to an audio book or music without blasting the audio. And I can go out for runs without the annoyance of loosing pace because I hit the cable again.
Wether it’s these or anyone other one, I highly recommend you invest in headphones if your serious about your workouts, learning, or saving time.

We can all use a little accountability from time to time. Let me share how I ended up joining the membership site, Rocking Productivity Academy. This time last year I was wondering if I had what it took to get anything crossed off my new years’ checklist.
I had three vague goals: post more often on my website, exercise consistently and read one book a month.
It was October 2016 and I had made progress on the last two goals. I had barely touched my website all year. It wasn’t being addressed because I was lacking skill, but rather because I kept letting perfection get in the way. I was too indecisive about the content calendar and little action. View Post
So in the last post, I jumped right into the benefits of membership sites but perhaps you’re new to the concept of membership sites. Here’s a post to give you an overview of what is a membership site and why it may be to your benefit to join one.
So let’s take one step back. A membership site is a members-only site that you either pay a one-time or ongoing subscription for exclusive training and content.
I’ve joined a few membership sites over the years. You may have already joined one and not even realized it. They can include closed forums, goal association groups, online classrooms and training, and tracking/project teams, etc.
They all the following in common:
They have one main problem to solve or goal to hit and it involves going through content and training provided.
You are joining a team of people who will share the journey with you. It’s very likely you may not personally know the team.
You’re all there to learn and share progress, and encourage. View Post
